This class covers principles of hydraulics, torque converters,
planetary gearsets, and basic transmission components including
pumps, valve bodies, clutch packs, and lockup clutches.
Operation, diagnosis and repair procedures are stressed.
Safety and shop procedures are an important part of this class which is intended for experienced mechanics as well as those new to the trade or not familiar with Coach automatic transmissions.
